Prof. Dr. Motiur Rahman Molla, Senior Consultant - Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, has recently joined Apollo Hospitals Dhaka as a part-time faculty.

Prof. Dr. Motiur Rahman Molla is a reputed senior Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon of the country. He has completed his PhD from OMS, Japan; as well as Diploma from the same institute. He has done FCPS and FICS, along with Advanced Surgical Training from Japan and Australia. Dr. Molla has been practicing oral and maxillofacial surgery since 1988.

In the major part of his surgical activity, Dr. Molla deals with:

• Oral surgeries, including cancer, dental implants, dento-alveolar surgery, etc.
• Facial bone trauma/fractures (zygoma, orbit, maxilla, mandible – pan facial)
• Jaw tumours/cysts and oral cancer (hemi-mandibulectomy, partial maxillectomy, SND), reconstruction, cosmetic surgery, TMJ pathology and ankylosis, cleft lip and palate, etc.

He has keen interest in multi-disciplinary surgical management, particularly with Neuro-surgery, Plastic surgery, ENT, Dentistry and other allied subjects for the best possible outcomes.
