In May 2010, Apollo Hospitals Dhaka organized three health awareness programs in different organizations. Dr. Abdul Mannan Sarker, Coordinator & Consultant – Endocrinology, delivered health talk on “Diabetes” on May 6, 2010 for officials of Expolanka Group; Prof. (Dr.) Tareak Al Nasir, Coordinator & Senior Consultant – Lab Services, delivered health talk on “Food Posioning” on May 20, 2010 for officials of Cairn Energy; and Dr. Monowara Begum, Coordinator & Senior Consultant – Obstetrics & Gynaecology, delivered health talk on “Cervical Cancer” for teachers and parents of DPS STS School Dhaka on May 25, 2010. These programs are voluntary services Apollo provides for its corporate partners.
