Since the inception of Apollo Hospitals Dhaka, Dr. Attawar Sandeep, Coordinator & Senior Consultant-Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgery and his team are performing successful operations on children with congenital heart defect. An experience sharing meeting was held between the guardians of some such children with the Consultant and Management of Apollo Hospitals Dhaka on last 4th August. In the gathering in presence of Acting CEO Mr. Shahjahan Majumder, FCA and Dr. Attawar Sandeep, the guardian expressed their experience and feelings about the services they received in Apollo Heart Centre. Most of the present guardians became highly emotional shedding their tears of gratitude when they were sharing their helpless situation with their babies. They said they were wandering all around with no guidance and help and when they eventually got the desired treatment and support from Dr. Attawar Sandeep, their joy was limitless. They expressed their gratefulness to Apollo Heart Centre for the wonderful service they are providing for babies with birth defect in heart. Dr. Shagufa Anwar, General Manager, Business Development answered questions of the invitees in the program. Before the program all these babies had physical check-up at free of cost.
