Apollo Hospitals Dhaka has continued its normal functioning during the Eid holidays of 10, 11 and 12 September 2010. The Accident & Emergency Department was open 24 hours for the treatment of emergency patients, and an on-call Consultant was available during special needs. For patients suffering from stroke, heart attack and any other emergency conditions, the hospital’s ambulance service was functional at all times. The Radiology and Lab Medicine Departments were open for all kinds of tests for patients. Post-graduate doctors were always present for patient’s effective treatment. The Operation Theatres were open day and night for all emergency surgeries under the supervision of expert surgeons. Apollo Pharmacy was also open at all times for medicine needs of patients.
