An experience sharing meeting was held between the patients and their families, and the Consultant and Management of Apollo General & Laparoscopic Surgery Department on 28 October 2010. Patient Forum is a program which provides platform for patients to talk about their experiences and provide recommendations for the hospital and its staff. Apollo Hospitals Dhaka regularly organizes Patient Forums to listen to their patients speak about the hospital.

Chief Operating Officer of Apollo Hospitals Dhaka Mr. Shahjahan Majumder, FCA thanked the patients in his welcome speech for making the effort to attend the program. The patients who were treated in Apollo General & Laparoscopic Surgery Department became highly emotional shedding their tears of gratitude while thanking Apollo Management and Consultant Prof Dr. Anisur Rahman about the excellent services they received in Apollo General & Laparoscopic Surgery Department. Approximately 50 patients with their family members attended the program not only from Dhaka, but also from Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar, Moulavi Bazar, Sunamgonj, Tangail, Chuadanga, Narayanganj and Gazipur. Dr. Shagufa Anwar, General Manager - Business Development, also spoke to welcome the patients and to invite them to share  their experiences while they were treated at Apollo, along with their suggestions and recommendations for further improvement in hospital services. Dr. Mohammad Naseem Siddiq, Director of Medical Services, also spoke on the occasion.
