On December 21, 2011, Apollo Hospitals Dhaka organized a scientific seminar on “Updates on Advanced Patient Care Management” with the doctors of Narayanganj city in Narayanganj Club. Dr. Shagufa Anwar, General Manager, Business Development gave welcome address and also informed to the audience about the hospital infrastructure, patient safety measures, infection control procedure, medical records repository and waste management system.  Dr. Tamzeed Ahmed, Senior Consultant-Apollo Heart Centre delivered presentation on the modern and unique of Cardiological treatment modalities he practices in Apollo. Dr. Prashant Agrawal, Senior Consultant Bone and Joint centre explained the modern treatment Apollo Bone and Joint Centre is providing for the patients of sports and trauma injury, hip and knee replacement, prosthesis and ligament reconstruction etc. Approximately 350 doctors of Narayanganj city and surrounding area were present in the seminar. Mayor of Narayanganj City Corporation Dr. Selina Hayat Ivy also attended in the seminar to encourage the audience. The seminar was followed by an interactive question-answer session.
