 A ten member delegate of Emory University School of Medicine of Atlanta, USA visited the facilities of Apollo Hospitals Dhaka, under the leadership of Dr. Gary Hauk on October 21, 2009. During their visit they were briefed about the hospital infrastructure, patient safety measures, infection control procedure, medical records repository and waste management system by Dr. Shagufa Anwar, General Manager - Business Development. They also met Acting CEO Mr. Shahjahan Majumder and Prof. Dr. Tareak-Al-Nasir, Senior Consultant - Lab Medicine, on their visit. Dr. Gary and his team were highly impressed witnessing the modern facilities of the hospital and its Accident & Emergency Department. They expressed their strong desire to work with Apollo Hospitals Dhaka in the future for improvement of the healthcare system of Bangladesh |
