Two new Consultants have joined Apollo Hospitals Dhaka family on April 12, 2010:

·          Dr. Saroj Kant Sinha, Consultant-Gastroenterology & Hepatology

·          Dr. Anupam Lal, Consultant-Interventional Radiology

Dr. Saroj Kant Sinha is a graduate from Patna Medical College, Bihar, India. He has completed his MD (Medicine) and DM (Gastroenterology) from PGI, Chandigarh, India. He has served in PGI Chandigarh as an Associate Professor. He has extensive clinical experience in Gastroenterology, Hepatology & Therapeutic Endoscopy including ERCP, Capsule Endoscopy, Gastrointestinal manometry and Endosonography. He has published more then 65 papers in various international and national journals. He has guided more then 20 theses in MD, DM and Ph.D. He is also currently on the Editorial Board of Journal of Digestive Endoscopy, which is the official journal of Society of Gastroentestinal Endoscopy of India, and he contributes regularly to various high impact international journals.

Dr. Anupam Lal is a graduate from Patna Medical College, Bihar, India of 1991 Batch. He did his post graduation (MD) in Radio-diagnosis in 1998 and completed his 3 years of post MD training as Senior Resident in (PGIMER), Chandigarh, India. He has served as an Associate Professor in PGIMER. He has extensive experience in Diagnostic and Interventional Radiological procedures pertaining to various modalities like Radiography, USG, Doppler, CT, MRI, Fluoroscopy and Angiography. He has special interest in Abdominal and Chest imaging and Vascular/ Nonvascular Radiological Interventional procedures like Biopsies, Drainages, Stenting, Angioplasty, and Embolizations.
