On 27 Januray 2010, Apollo Hospitals Dhaka organized a scientific seminar on “Updates on Advanced Patient Care Management” with the doctors of Chittagong city in a local hotel.

Dr. Shagufa Anwar, General Manager - Business Development, gave a welcome address and informed the audience about the hospital infrastructure, patient safety measures, infection control procedures, medical records repository and waste management system.  Dr. S. M. Quamruz Zaman, Consultant - Neurosurgery, delivered presentation on the modern and unique of neurosurgical treatment modalities he practices at Apollo Hosptals Dhaka. Dr. Prashant Agrawal, Senior Consultant - Orthopaedics, explained the modern treatment Apollo Bone & Joint Centre is providing for patients of sports and trauma injuries, hip and knee replacement, prosthesis and ligament reconstruction, etc.

Approximately 375 doctors of Chittagong city and surrounding areas were present in the seminar. The seminar was chaired by Prof. Dr. Selim M. Jahangir, Principal of Chittagong Medical College, and the program ended with an interactive question-answer session.
