Apollo Hospitals Dhaka celebrated International Nurses Day on May 12, 2011 with a special program. The theme of the program was "Closing the Gap: Increasing Access & Equity”.

The program began in the afternoon with cake cutting by Senior Management, lamp lighting, and oath taking ceremony conducted by Dr. Monette Brombuela, Chief Nursing Officer. After opening messages, certificates were awarded to nurses of different specialties, which was followed by Cultural Program and dinner. CEO Mr. Michael S. Potter and DMS Dr. Shah Sikkander Badusha spoke on the occassion. Senior management and other employees of the hospital also attended the program.
